AGLOCO Blog

I stumbled upon the official AGLOCO Blog. There is a sample of a 30 second pitch you can use to get an idea of how to explain this to others. I know these things tend to scare off friends and family, but this is not some sort of "I have been using this brand of toothpaste and I can get it for you at half price if you order from me". Everyone hears these ideas and at first is turned off by the possibility that it is going to involve them selling "cosmetics" to their neighbors.

AGLOCO is possibly going to be a big success and if it is, we will all be owners of the company and profit if it takes off. Just look at all these "Web 2.0 Beta" sites that are getting bought out by Yahoo and Google.

You may see articles about Bill Gates stating AGLOCO is the next big thing or something to that effect. The actual quote from Mr. Gates was in December of 2005 at a TIE event in New Delhi and is as follows "Google’s business model is not based on free software. Their business model is based on advertisements from which they make a lot of money. But they don’t give anything to you (consumers and investors). The whole search business is advertising oriented. Google keeps all of the money with itself. Their model is not going to hold. But we are happy that now there is a company who can challenge us. People may be underestimating Microsoft in the search business. Our search is better than Google’s. But sometimes, it’s good to be underestimated." As you can see the company he is clearly referring to is Google and not AGLOCO. Here is the source.

Now there is also a transcript from a panel discussion on Infoworld in which Mr. Gates discusses getting involved in "revenue sharing" with Microsoft/MSN users. He never mentions AGLOCO by name. Good luck trying to get the article at Infoworld, I couldn't get it to come again so I could post it as a source.

I do not want to give any false hope to anyone, frankly I think this hype is a "google bomb" or some other attempt at contreversay to get more people interested in AGLOCO.

I have also seen a lot of negative sites/blogs regarding AGLOCO being just another pyramid scheme. They point to the failure of a company started by some of AGLOCO's founders. The company was Alladvantage.com and offered a similar type of program that never took off. Here is the Wikipedia article about the failed company.

I do things on the "up and up" so to speak. If I find out that there is any scam or scheme behind AGLOCO, I will pass it on to everyone I know as well as post it here.

Until then...
